We have recently found a source for new high power LED lights that will be used as the standard lighting equipment on all new Eagle lighted fountains in 2018 and beyond. The new lights will increase the light power by 40%. The new EFS3000-E has a reduced selling price vs our standard EFS3000 as we have simplified the controls on the unit. The EFS3000-E price tag is $4,580.00, a $400 savings vs our standard EFS3000 fountain and it has the same functionality, GPM and spray size as the original EFS3000. The EFS3000-E will be equipped with Intermatic T104-P 24 hr. mechanical timer controls and can be supplied with a plug & play feature or for typical hardwire connection to any electric panel. For the EFS3000-E the customer will supply a 240 volt double pole GFI protected breaker at their main power panel for operation of the fountain. The EFS3000-E fountain is one of our most popular fountains and is a big fountain with a large and dense 30'H X 30'W spray pattern presentation. The fountain is rated at 270 GPM and is available as a 208/240 volts model only. The FLA rating is 17 amps at 230 volts, 1 phase, so this big fountain is very inexpensive to operate. Spec sheets for the EFS3000-E are available now by request and the EFS3000-E fountain is now available to order on our website.

Eagle Fountains is pleased to report that we have secured a new contract for 2018 from our pump suppliers on an upgraded version of our long time standard trash pumps. The new pumps are all stainless steel construction as always but with a highly polished mirrored stainless steel finish. The ultra smooth mirrored finish will further eliminate algae build up and aquatic snail and barnacle attachment on the outer body of the pump. The new pumps for 2018 will have the same tried and true heavy duty double silicone carbide seal configuration as our trash pumps have always had. There are three benefits to installing pond fountains for water aeration:
1) Allows for water oxygenation: ponds fall victim to oxygen depletion throughout all seasons of the year. Pond fountains circulate the water which provides a proper oxygen rich water environment for your fish year round.
2) Prevents stratification by mixing the warmer water at the top of the pond with the cooler water near the bottom.
3) Able to manage the ponds nutrients. A fountain will also help rid your pond of undesired algae and aquatic weeds. If you have moss and /or weeds growing from the bottom of your pond we suggest also adding a dye like Aqua-Shade which will limit the penetration of sunlight to the bottom of the pond.

Date added: 05/24/2017 FAQ: Can I get LED Lighting for My Eagle Fountain?
A: YES! Since 2016, Eagle Fountains has incorporated our new LED projection lighting package into all of our lighted fountain models. We wanted the best, so after years of searching for an LED light bulb suitable for operating in sealed fixtures and in wet locations, we located a lighting manufacturer in the USA that now produces an LED light bulb that meets our strict requirements. Our LED lighting package is now standard issue on every new Eagle lighted fountain.
The effect from the LED lights is a warm, white light that is very pleasing to the eye and is brilliant in its illumination of the fountain sprays. Besides the standard white, we also offer blue, amber, and red.
The new bulbs have an MR-16 base and because they burn much cooler, little to no condensate forms in the light fixture unlike the old halogen bulbs. The new LEDs have a 5-year limited warranty from the manufacturer and are compatible with any Eagle lighted fountain model produced within the past 20 years.
